We strive to make every effort to inform our patients of the cost of needed treatment before any is rendered. An informed patient is a happy patient, and our goal is to provide you with an overall plan for lifetime health. We also strive to have the means available to make the cost of treatment affordable to everyone. For your convenience we accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express). We also extend the courtesy of long-term payment arrangements through Capital One; we want you to know quality dental care can be made to fit in your budget.

Some of our patients have dental insurance and we are happy to assist you and obtain all appropriate coverage for your dental care and we even file your benefits on your behalf. Because we are committed to quality care and PPO plans force a practice to limit the time spent with a patient, Dr. Marion is not a participating provider with any insurance company. We have found insurance companies try to dictate what type of treatment the dentist should render. Since dental insurance can be very different from medical insurance, some patients are justifiably confused about their benefits. We pride ourselves on informing and helping our patients obtain necessary treatment by making sound financial arrangements. Since a patient is a key player in this process, we also encourage you to call your insurance carriers to further explore those benefits to which you are entitled.

Most dental procedures will not be covered at 100%, regardless of what insurance companies may lead you to believe. Insurance companies base their fees on what they consider UCR (Usual and Customary Rates); this is a way for them to withhold more of your benefits. We strongly suggest that you ask your insurance company how they came up with these fees, as many times they will state it’s based on zip codes. If this is the case we recommend that you contact three dentists in your zip code with certain procedure codes and ask what their fees are and then challenge your insurance company.
